There have been some requests to add the functionality to search for Junxure Actions by Action ID. I have added this request to the Enhancement list, but until that makes it into a code release, I have also built a small tool that you can use to get this functionality right now.
This simple utility will allow you to enter an ActionID into a text box and then it will open that Action in Junxure.
Installing this tool requires 2 steps.
1. Install on Workstations.
It must be installed on each workstation. Since Junxure 8 and Junxure 9 install to different locations, you must know what version of Junxure you are on. You can see what version of Junxure you are on, at the bottom of the main menu.
You will either have a 7, 8 or 9 in the highlighted portion of the version at the bottom of the main menu.
Version 7 and 8 can use this link to install the utility Junxure 8 and Below
Version 9 and higher will use this link to install the utility Junxure 9 and Above
Once you have downloaded the file, just run it and then unzip to put the file into the proper folder.
The actual utility is the same for both versions, but the path to where it gets installed is different. If your Junxure is installed to a different location, then you will need to find the Junxure.exe and put it into the same folder.
2. Add to the Custom Menu
Now you must add it to the Custom Menu on the contacts form. This is done for the entire company, but you can restrict it by group, so it does not show for people who have not installed the tool.
If you do not have the custom database button on the contact form, then you will need to go to Maintain System | Options | Global Options and click ”Use Custom Command Button” If this was not checked, then you will need to restart Junxure for it to appear.
Once you have that button turned on, it will look like this.
Click the Toolbox dropdown button and then click Edit Items. This will open the form where you can edit the entries in the list.
You will have to enter a new row, with the above information for all Columns except the Command Column. The command column will be different based upon your Junxure Version. Use the following table to get the proper command for your Junxure Version

Using the Action by ID Utility
Once it is installed and you have your command on the menu, you simply click the menu item and it will open the Find Action By ID tool.
This is what you will see once you click it.

Enter the Action ID that you want to open in Junxure and either hit “Enter” or “Find Action”
If that action exists, it will open it in Junxure for you.
If that Action does not exist, it will give you a message box saying that it could not find the action.
